A LA PAR Allotment allows all fans of gardening, urban horticulture, open spaces and cultivation tasks, to enjoy an orchard a few kilometers from the center of a city like Madrid.

All this, sustained by the work of people with intellectual disabilities trained as horticulturists and nurserymen who carry out the basic maintenance of up to 200 plots that the Foundation has available to the public.

In addition, several Sundays a month, during spring and also in autumn, El Mercado de La Huerta takes place. An invitation to spend a pleasant day outdoors with the possibility of buying eco, natural and artisan food.

Pandemic notebook: A LA PAR Allotment was another of the first units to resume its activity at the end of April, with the Community of Madrid still in phase zero. As it was an outdoor activity, and he was able to return to visit our clients shortly after, at the beginning of May, yes, always with limited capacity and time of permanence and in an individualized way.

We also look after the gardens around Fundación A LA PAR, the Tennis and Paddle Tennis Club, and La Quinta de la Muñoza, located in El Pardo.

Over 100 people with intellectual disabilities have work contracts and 160 are being trained in our protected employment projects
